Matthews SX7 & SX16 Basic Box Printers
With a focus on reliability and simplicity the SX7 and SX16 box coders are the perfect entry point for large character ink jet printing of boxes and trays, especially for batch or low volume producers.
The printer is fully self contained with proximity and speed sensors built into the head and the ink system is a simple pressurised canister filled with water based ink that is very simple to fit. After unpacking out of the box the only additional requirements are fitting to the production line or taping machine, supply of mains power and programming your message. This has proven so simple that many of our customers have decided to make further savings by conducting self-installations, and because the printer is fitted with an intuitive, icon based, user interface programming of messages is simple and easy without the need for external systems such as a PC.

Matthews SX32 Advanced Ink Jet Printer
The Matthews SX32 advanced ink jet printer is designed to meet a wide range of industrial applications by providing many options in print head, ink type, and ink systems. This means that Reynolds Group can use standard components to provide you a unique, tailormade printing solution without compromises.
The SX32 can print text and variable information including barcodes and graphics onto a variaty of materials with common applications being: Opposite side box and bag printing, printing onto lengths of timber, dry wall, steel, and plastic extrusion such as water pipes. Because the controller can drive independant printheads or composite printheads it is possible to print character heights between 5mm and 128mm in several locations at once.
The SX32 is the most economical of the Matthews large character printers with further savings being made on the larger ink multiples, which range from 1 litre bottle to 200 litre drums.

RGL dotCOMM3 Dairy Printer
The dotCOMM3 has been specifically designed by Reynolds Group to meet dairy industry requirements for the printing of cypher, unit and multilingual date information onto powder bags, as well as cheese and butter boxes.
The dotCOMM3 incorporates Reynolds Groups' unique business rules coding system whereby production workflows are implemented in the machine with management tweaks afforded through an administration panel. This ensures that operating procedures and best practices are observed preventing costly coding errors.
Reynolds Group designed the dotCOMM3's sealed continuous ink system that provides precision pressure control, large capacity recycleable ink containers, and fully automated self cleaning. During the cleaning procedure the dotCOMM3 printer re-claims all ink and cleaner meaning there is zero waste, with the cleaner tank only requiring replenishment upon annual service.
At the inaugural Fonterra packaging awards the RGL dotCOMM3 printer received two coveted awards: Excellence in Powder Packaging Innovation and Excellence toward the Environment.

Linx IJ350 Large Character Marker (LCM)
The Linx IJ350 large character printer is ideal for coding and marking porous materials, such as cartons and secondary packaging, with text and logos up to 53mm high. This case coder has a self cleaning printhead which ensures clear, crisp codes at 180dpi high resolution every time!
The simple icon based colour touch-screen user interface makes the printer easy to use with no need for training, and integrated software guides make sure that the correct message is selected with validated data input. Matthews v84i Advanced Ink Jet Printer for OEM's
The Matthews v84i OEM is an innovative print controller that is purposefully designed for OEM and system integrator applications, it contains all the features of the SX32 advanced ink jet printer but instead of providing a local operator interface it exposes communications and control interfaces in so that the host machine can have full control and provide the user interface.
